How the first six Etch components were made
Etch Developer launches with six free Etch components. Each one starts as a written spec, is built with AI coding agents that follow rules I set, and is exported by Etch itself. Before a component gets a Copy button, it goes through browser tests on desktop and in phone emulators (nearly 400 test cases across the six), screen reader runs with VoiceOver and TalkBack, and a clean import of the exact file you download. This is the whole process, including what isn't tested or fixed yet.
